About the Author
VICTORIA SAUERS is an author and historian who is fascinated by people of all time periods and places. A child prodigy, she completed her college education by the age of nine, majoring in History with a minor in English. She spends much of her time researching and writing. She has four books currently in print, including Ulysses Grant: Personal Reflections; Maya Ball Court: Sacred Ritual, Ultimate Game; Lionhearted Queen: Berengaria of Navarre; and The Pirate Cookbook. She especially enjoys writing works that explore the difficulties that people face, the lessons to be learned, and how they resolve them. Slush Pile is her fifth book in print.
