About the Book
This is the story of Arsen Malet, a recanted Cathar heretic from Languedoc, who is sentenced to wear the despised two yellow crosses on his outer garments and to undertake the arduous pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. As he journeys across northern Spain he meets a young widow, Grazide La Tourette. They soon fall hopelessly in love. After many tribulations and misunderstandings, they reach their destination where their love is finally resolved.
The book is illustrated with drawings by the author and a map of the Road to Santiago.
About the Author
JOSEPH P. PETERS is a retired consultant in hospital and health care planning. He and his wife reside on Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. He has won three prestigious national awards for his contributions to hospital strategic planning and is the author of several books on the subject. He also has edited three books on the military history of the American West. Mr. Peters is a recognized artist whose work has been displayed in five one-man shows and at numerous group exhibitions at museums and galleries throughout the Philadelphia area.
