About the Author
I was born in the month of March, 1934, in Springfield, Mo. It was 18 months after my birth, I was adopted by my foster parents who gave me the name of Paul Hamilton, but that would be another story. I entered the U.S. Navy in 1952. For the lack of something to do, and to let my wife know how I felt, I started to write poetry, which is now included with Art as my hobbies. I did not have the proper education, that I felt I should have had, so I had to learn the hard way to do things. I feel, I can explain myself better when I write things down, which brought about the writing of the death of our only daughter, Cindy, who died of aids. The first book “OH GOD, I’M IN THE TUNNEL”, was about our family, about aids, and how we learned to deal with it. It is about a fight for life. I have attempted to write this follow-up book, of my poems, about aids. I found that love is everlasting, and undying. Emotion can be defined as a strong feeling, such as: fear, anger, and grief. Love and joy, what better way to describe the terrible Aids Virus. This book is intended to bring comfort, and understanding to those who know of Aids, to those who are in their fight with Aids, also to let you know that someone cares, and shares your love and emotion.
