About the Book

An accumulated collection of reactions, thoughts, the aftermath, anniversaries, and later reflections in the kaleidoscope experience of losing a beloved spouse of many years, from the initial news to its conclusion and after, until the recognition for the need to begin closure several years later. Each writing in the collection being a spontaneous reaction to a trigger event of that instant reflecting the high vulnerability of the survivor coping with the intensity of the loss.
