About the Author
Born in Columbus, Ohio, Tom Siler has lived in several states. His boyhood was in Salt Lick, Ky., where his grandfather once had a lumber business. After leaving Albion College(Michigan), he worked in Lexington, Kentucky, for Eastern Air Lines, which transferred him to Pensacola, Florida. He worked on Boone, Iowa and Pensacola newspapers before becoming personnel director with the City of Pensacola, from which he retired. Had an employment business, sold real estate and wrote a bi-weekly column for the Gulf Breeze Sentinel. A widower, Tom lives in Pensacola, near his son, Jeff.
