About the Book

Long ago in a time and place since forgotten by historians and storytellers alike, a young thief surprisingly played a major role in the never ending conflict between the forces of good and the forces of evil. Orphaned at an early age, like many of his peers, the young man was forced to turn to thievery for survival in a world where the weak rarely endured. In a city clearly divided between those with wealth and power and those who dream of wealth and power, Jaeger Greyhood was unmistakably one of the latter.

However, all was not as it seemed and Jaeger was destined to be more than just a thief. Jaeger was different and although he was ignorant as to why or how, somehow he knew he would be one of the few to not only survive, but to lift himself above his current downtrodden situation.

Destiny Quest is the tale of Jaeger’s adventures and the story of how he travels the realm following a path he never intended to but was clearly destined to. Through all of it he persevered filled with doubt about his ability yet fully aware of the inconsistency that a thief was being asked to save the world.

Although many things have changed over the centuries, he confronts trials and tribulations similar to those faced by many in our own times. We all make decisions without knowing their true impact until years later when we are able to look back and analyze the path our lives traveled to get us where we are today. Whether it be the pain of a lost love, loneliness, betrayal, or simply not knowing what the impact of a decision today will have on his life tomorrow, Jaeger’s journey is similar to the one many today have also taken.
