About the Book

When marine biologist Colleen Brennan is called to examine six dead dolphins found on a New Jersey beach, she has no idea that the assignment will rock the foundations of her scientific expertise.

Controversy soon erupts after a college professor blames a dolphin for killing three fishermen.

Brennan´s investigation takes an unexpected turn when Nick Marciano, a stranger haunted by personal tragedies and possessing a special knowledge of dolphins, offers his assistance.

Academic competition, eco-activism, and a covert military operation intersect in a puzzle to which only one man holds the key.

In a story that reaches from a small beachfront town to the Middle East and the corridors of the Pentagon, Marciano forces Brennan to confront a harsh reality as she struggles to protect dolphins while walking a razor-sharp moral line.
