Our Third Life

About the Book

We will enter the third phase of our life after death. We have experienced the first phase of nine months in the womb of our mother and are living the second phase now. Death, judgment, and either heaven or hell await us. This book examines the catholic view of these four last things. Our emphasis is on what is necessary to ensure that we will enjoy the perfect happiness of everyone who attains eternal life in heaven. This life in heaven is nothing more than a living, personal relationship with God. Our guide is the Catholic Church.

About the Author

Ken was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He has a Civil Engineering degree from Purdue University and a Masters Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Alaska. He served two years in the Army where he met his wife, Rita, in Germany. Ken worked for private engineering firms in Ohio and Colorado until 1965. He then worked for the Alaska District Corps of Engineers in Anchorage, Alaska until 1991 when he retired. Ken has been active in church activities as a teacher, eucharistic minister, reader, and sacristan. He coached baseball and authored “Suffering Christ on the Cross.”
