About the Author

Shirley Bogart Cohen enjoys writing, acting, story telling, book reviewing, teaching creative writing, folk dancing, and doing word puzzles and needlework. She was a high school English teacher, and has taught all ages, from preschool to “seasoned” citizens. Shirley has written and ghost written several books. Her profiles and other articles have appeared in The New York Times, NEWSDAY, New York Habitat, AMERICANA, Jewish Press, Jewish Week, and The English Journal. She and husband Eddie live in Long Beach, N.Y., winter in Delray Beach, FL., and have fifteen superb grandkids between them.
