About the Book

This book is a collection of poems and writings created from Clothe Rose’s, a breeze of my mother’s wings. Clothe Rose’s is about how I have always given my mother cloth roses on special occasions or just at anytime to show my love.

At my mother’s wake I placed two of those same roses next to my moms heart before my mother’s casket was closed. One rose for my twin brother and one rose for myself. I wanted the rose’s to be buried with her always, hoping the roses would become her wings when she reached heaven.

About the Author

My name is Alberta Diane Evans/Johnson, I was born and raised in the Nations Capitol. I am the daughter of the late Edith Ernestine Martin whom I dedicate this book to. My mother was one of the most precious children of God. Her heart and soul was as beautiful as a rose. I decided to write this book and share her heart with others. I hope you enjoy every poem and writing I have written and that it may touch you in a special way that can calm the heart. Because the precious heart must be at peace always.
