About the Book

Sheriff Cletus Haley knows that nothing unusual ever happens in his little town of Harmony – until that fateful morning in 1937 when unusual things begin to happen.

A series of thefts begins to unnerve the town and frustrate the sheriff. But when a tin of arsenic powder is stolen from the town’s doctor, Sheriff Haley realizes that much more might be at stake. And after the hooligan son of the town’s most prominent family suddenly disappears, Sheriff Haley must figure out exactly what is going on in his town before the forces of man and nature come together to rend it asunder.

About the Author

Alicia Grace Copeland attended Cal State University, Northridge, and has over nine years of writing and editing experience for a monthly healthcare publication that includes essays and poetry and has been published in Potpourri. For the last six years, the author has conducted a fiction writing contest for students first grade through high school in the Los Angeles area. The annual contest attracts nearly 200 entries. Discord In Harmony is her second novel.
