About the Book
This unrestrained spoof of The Perfect Storm and its influence on the quirky island-city of Gloucester, Mass. gives a clearer (and more hilarious) view of Cape Ann’s young adults than Hollywood could ever capture.
The Perfect Storm depicted the events of six fishermen who left port and never returned. St. Peter’s Fiasco describes what happens when five very macho, very sheltered cousins do the unthinkable – travel to Boston in their prized Camaro the night before St. Peter’s Fiesta, Gloucester’s sacred version of Mardi Gras – a truly blasphemous thought. Small minds, small cars, big dreams: The perfect recipe for a fiasco.
