About the Book
TOCCATA & FUGUE is named after an organ recital that takes place in a damaged German church during World War II combat. The novel takes a look into both the German and American side of the conflict. There is a love triangle between an American soldier who grew up in Germany, the daughter of a German general staff officer, and a young Luftwaffe pilot. The novel enters the post-war era with a mystery resolved near the end of the story.
About the Author
WERNER WORTSMAN has attended secondary schools in Stuttgart, Germany, St. Gall, Switzerland, and Atlanta, Georgia. He is a journalism graduate of Emory University, and, while competing in the business world, participated in several post-graduate literature courses. He has worked in the editorial and advertising departments of newspapers in the Atlanta area and eventually became an owner of a small town radio station. His previously published novel is entitled VISCOSITY.
