About the Book

Odara and her family face unexpected hardships as they try to make

a pioneering start on the strange world known as Joran 4.  Odara recieves

a hybrid pup Haze, from her father.   The two form

a startling connection to their new home world and each other.  

They become trapped with terrifying Pyro Lizards, after being exposed to the devastating Light Storms of Joran 4.  Odara soon realizes her new home is NOT what the promotional vid's promised, it is MUCH MORE DANGEROUS!

Together the two strive to free their new home from greed and corruption and give hope to their new home and all of its unique inhabitants.

Haze of Joran has been described as: "...a good, old-fashioned, science fiction adventure for young adults!"

DJ Sutherlin is an American painter and author, holding a B.A. in Art from Central Missouri State University, USA. She has two completed novels: 'The Bondmate Chronicles' and 'Haze of Joran'.
