About the Book

“To Fly With the Angels” is the compelling story of a minister and wife and their thirty-year journey into the fascinating world of angels, spiritual guides, and communication with those on the other side of life.  As the spiritual communicators bring messages of wisdom, inspiration, hope, and comfort; they also speak of the dying process, life after death, life review, reincarnation, suicide, earth-bound spirits, other earth planes and planets, and many other subjects.  

Mary Nell has spoken to spirits for as long as she can remember, and has recorded her communications for thirty years.  “To Fly With the Angels” also includes life readings she has received for others, with fascinating information of past lives in ancient areas of the world.  The writings speak of Atlanteans, Egyptian slaves, English writers, of life in villages of Africa, of Native American children, and of scientists on other planes of life.

While the book answers questions about the spirit world and offers extensive information about past lives, other worlds, and speaks of our relationship with The Light, who is God; the primary purpose of the spiritual guides in giving this information is to make those of us on earth more aware of our responsibilities to this physical life; to comfort and bring hope and assurance; and to prepare us for the life (lives) to come.

Truth is the only acknowledgment by which understanding comes.  The writings will go on and there will be a purpose for all these writings.  The purpose will multiply into an everlasting truth and shall ultimately help to pave the way for so many who are seeking.  This surely will help chart their course to the life which is available to all.

You must continue to tell others about this.  What is the purpose if you do not share?  Why be prepared yourself if others are not?  Spread the knowledge of what you have.  Speak it when you can, write it when you can, live it all the time.

About the Author

At age twelve, Charles W. Byrd began his quest for adventurous knowledge by bicycling twenty-five miles across two mountains to a distant town, enduring a severe thunderstorm while huddling under an abandoned coal truck on a lonely country road; washing the coal dust off in a snake-infested swamp, then emerging with his body covered with loathsome, thick black leeches; and finally, excitedly exploring the busy streets of a strange city. Writing about this escapade in a five-cent Blue Horse notebook ignited a writing career which now includes hundreds of articles; four non-fiction books; and three novels, one of which was adapted for a popular television series and movie. Educated at Berea College, Wake Forest University, The University of North Carolina, and Duke University Divinity School, he and his wife, Mary Nell, have four children; Wanda Jean, Mary Angela, Charla Deni, and Charles Danny.
