About the Book

When John Wilson, a former Secretary of  Commerce, is found dead at the exclusive Nordway Athletic and Health Club, the investigation leads to the doorstep of business tycoon Byron Stone’s S&P Foundation. Aspiring sex therapist Sue Brown is drawn into the investigation after Byron Stone invites her to his summer home in Connecticut. On the second day of the weekend trip, Byron Stone’s close friend Nick Stockton is found murdered in the same manner as John Wilson, a plastic bag having been placed over his head. Since Sue’s father had trained horses and she had worked as his assistant, on the trip to Connecticut, Byron Stone offers Sue the job of training his horses at Belmont Park. She accepts and the job takes her into the middle of a major investigation of the deaths of several of Byron’s friends and associates. Things really get complicated when Sue becomes romantically involved with Byron Stone who is a prime suspect in the murders.
