About the Book

This is a story about five different beings from five different worlds. They are magically transported by a Griffin named Laren into this world of Eris. But the magic ends at that point—for off-worlders are immune to the magic of Eris, both the good and the bad. That is why they were brought to Eris by The Great Griffin, he needs them in his battle to overcome the Evil Lord Tarat and his sorcery and his evil followers. It all begins with a rescue mission to free the wee folk of Eris named Balens and Poloes from a life of slavery. It ends with choices—who will stay, and who will return to their home worlds? This is only the beginning of a saga that will see mankind rule Griffin Island and a world called Eris.

About the Author

Karlton Douglas lives in Ohio with his wife and daughter. Chronic Illness has been part of his life for nearly a decade. He has found that a “God dependent attitude” is the only way to survive a Chronic Illness.
