About the Author

Troxey Kemper, born in Oklahoma, is part Comanche. After years as a reporter and copy desk editor on The Albuquerque Journal, he started freelancing. His publications include 15 books and freelance articles in magazines and newspapers. Eight of his poetry books have been published. His longest period of residence has been in New Mexico, at Tucumcari and Albuquerque, with shorter stays at Santa Fe and Nara Visa. Since 1969 he has lived in Hollywood, but other periods were spent at Palm Springs and at Denver, Portland, Las Vegas, and Dalhart and Harlingen, Texas. He is the editor of Tucumcari Literary Review.
