About the Book

The butterfly goes through many changes and stages in its life cycle. Its fragile existence is short-lived, but in one brief season of flight, it tickles our minds with its colorful flapping wings that beautify the gardens of this world. "Flight of a Butterfly" is a vibrant spiritual journey, a solemn yet rejoiceful chronological collection of devotional poetry of one man´s soul, who like the butterfly grows and matures through the stages of his development. Reverent and meditative these deeply sensitive and passionate poems acknowledge and emphasize the miracle of God´s love, blessings and presence in our everyday existence.

About the Author

Bryan B. Kagan is a board certified podiatrist and pedorthist who has lectured nationally and published articles on Podiatric Medicine and Pedorthics. His first book of poetry, Flight of a Butterfly, a spiritual journey, was well received. A native of New York, born in Albany, he grew up in Poughkeepsie. He attended the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel and Yeshiva University in New York City. He graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency training at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Dancing in the Mist is Bryan’s second book of poetry. It is a journey through passion in life performed to the music that touches our souls. He lives in New Rochelle, New York with Maggie, his wife of 27 years and their three children.
