About the Author

Alex Hughes-Walton grew up outside Philadelphia, but migrated to Madison, New Jersey, during the mid-1980s to pursue a PhD in English Literature at Drew University. Hughes-Walton has taught English literature and writing at many New Jersey and New York universities and colleges. Hughes-Walton operates a writing/editing business, The Word Doctor, while teaching English and Art History at Dominican College in Orangeburg, New York. The author resides in Rockland County, New York.
