About the Book

“Initially, Navin came to me in a series of nightmares. He is as real as any dreaming kid trapped inside Himself. I used to joke around that he was much smarter than me.”

I HEARD THINGS is about a sixteen year old kid, but Astrologically speaking, in dog years he’s a brilliantly burning millennium star. He crashes out of L.A. to the gaming tables of Las Vegas, And is sent to a mythological bluesman’s grave down in the Mississippi delta.

He is related to Wovoka and the Richelieu Royalty from France. I owe a debt of gratitude to the “Race records of the 50’s”, the Biography of Ralph Ellison, and the voice or Richard Wright. We asked the author what happens to Navin? “He ends up running the firewall on your computer”
