About the Book

The Hollyarkians’ purpose for traveling to this Pond Earth is to establish contact with whales, and to assist them in establishing an ingenious sanctuary off the Lomonosov ridge located under the polar waters that separate Pacific from Atlantic.

Mighty Agee (the fugitive), a blue whale, one hundred twenty feet long, is host to the aliens and complainant in the case against mankind. He works with the Hollyarkians to install a cantilevered clamshell structure made from ice. The sanctuary prevents entry of harpooners, predators, and submarine ultra-sonic sonar bombardment. It is a place where wounded Blues and Fins, young and old, can recover or die in a Pond at peace.

About the Author

Born in Newark New Jersey, January 3, 1943, the author is a graduate of St. Louis University, and is currently retired from The Boeing Company. Recent publishing achievements (Xlibris) include the Pond Series Young Adult books introducing the new genre, bio-eco-sci-fi. The four Pond Series books offer fiction-fantasy entertainment with under-pinning themes from the continued dying Western Culture. Lawrence lives in Los Angeles where he continues to pitch bio-eco theme fiction. Endangered species such as Grand Cypress, Whales, bio-systems and abused children, are high on his list of worthy writing material.
