About the Book

The War is the third book of a trilogy that takes place in the 23rd Century. This adventure novel transports you through the rigors of a Universal war against the Visconieans and their allies. This is the story of how one special soul contends with the din of war that turns out to be more egregious for him than most. This is how one great warrior fights to be able to hear his soul and struggles to safeguard his spirit through the deafening clamor of war. This is a story of survival, not of the fittest, but of the spirit of one incredible person that could be you.

About the Author

Donna J. Smyth Donna Smyth was born in Philadelphia, PA, in 1954. She has written several short stories, novels, and poems that reflect the wisdom and insight gained from over 30 years experience in martial arts training. She has published her first two books, Strong Suits and In Time. Now she proudly introduces her third book, The War. This Renaissance woman has earned a masters in the healing art of Reiki, she’s an accomplished flautist, and enjoys teaching T'ai Chi, Pilates, and especially Judo at her school in Lansdowne, PA.
