About the Author

B.J. Charles Bulanti is the author of this, his second book. He currently reside sin San Carlos, California, with his wife of 55 years, Frances Eterovich Bulanti. Charlie was born in Talamona, Italy and came to the United States with his mother, brother and sister, in 1928. They settled in Salinas, California, where his father worked in the construction business. His father was an architect and builder. Charlie attended Salinas High School and Salinas Junior College, before going into the United States Coast Guard in 1942. He spent 34 months in the South Pacific serving as a gunners mate 2nd class and participating in four landings: Saipan, Leyte, Manila, and Okinawa. He was discharged on 12/15/45. After service he attended the University of San Francisco, College of San Mateo and Canada College. For the last 30 years he has been active in the real estate business.
