About the Author
R. Michael Ulsh was raised in Cedarville, Ohio. He collected his first baseball cards at a young age. When he entered high school he gave them away believing he was too old to be collecting cards. After earning a degree in Law Enforcement at Eastern Kentucky University in 1976, he made his way to Las Cruces, New Mexico, where he discovered no one is ever too old to collect baseball cards. After twenty-one and a half years in law enforcement he retired as a police sergeant with the Las Cruces Police Department. Surfing Time in Cooperstown is his first book.
