About the Book
Lili, a white mouse with red ears and a corkscrew tail is born just before Christmas and learns what it feels like to be rejected by her siblings because she is different.
However she explores the house and finds a wonderful tree full of lights and colors. Lili sees an opportunity to overcome prejudices and uses her unusual characteristics to her advantage. She has adventures to recount to her brothers and sisters.
Lili is now admired for her courage and her previously unrecognized beauty. She is accepted as an equal.
Her joy is complete as she contemplates the future.
About the Author
Jeannine Eidman currently has thirteen grandchildren (there may be more!). She has had several careers: homemaker, mother to four boys and manager in the field of information technology, now in her retirement years she is an horticulturist, garden designer and author of children’s stories. Her formal education was in literature. She has been an amateur painter and has lived in France, England, Spain and Germany in addition to the United States. This multicultural background, love of art, natural beauty, literature and children, has combined to allow her to create and illustrate her own children’s stories which will provide many hours of fun and fascination for children and parents everywhere.
