About the Author
Author began writing poetry early as a child on a Minnesota farm. A country church, praying parents, the Bible, and hymnal nourished faith. The Great Depression marked childhood. Music and typing lessons were learned by correspondence and honed by higher education. She became an award winning poet, piano teacher, choir director, certified Lay Speaker, and composer. Member of National Federation of State Poetry Societies. State memberships held in South Dakota, Iowa, Illinois, and Minnesota, also Poet’s Study Club of Indiana. Listed in Who’s Who in U.S. Writers, Editor Poets, Hymn Society of America. Published in anthologies, newspapers, and magazines.
