About the Book

“Alex Hill's Haiku3 - wise, smart, very funny, honest - something for us about us...about time! The way it had to be and how it changed. Alex is our guide through Haiku to me and you.” - Verna Gillis – Soundscape Presents www.soundscapepresents.com “This book reads like log entries on a sail toward self. Raw and intimate poems trace a way toward deeper understanding. Like traveling through water, the journey opens up ahead, closing behind. Traveler, read on!” - CL Watson – author - Eating The Shadow www.Eatingtheshadow.com

About the Author

Alexandra Hill is a therapist in private practice in both New York City and Milan, New York, and Director of the Multipath Center which offers certification trainings in Hypnosis, Spiritual Coaching and Breathwork. As an artist, her paintings have been sold and shown in one-woman and group exhibits in Manhattan. Alex’s writings have appeared in Dylis Winn’s book, Murderess Ink (an anthology of women in crime fiction published by Workman), The Serpentine Muse Magazine, a publication of the Adventuresses of Sherlock Holmes, and The Volunteer Voice, a quarterly newsletter for WNET Public Television in New York City. In 1990, Alex was ordained at The Cathedral St. John the Divine in New York City as an Interfaith Minister. She uses her seminary training in the religions of the world to serve the spiritual needs of a wide variety of people and their traditions; The East Hampton Star called her a “spiritual soul soother.” HAIKU TO THE THIRD POWER takes traditional Haiku to new levels of expression. Using her experiences as the path Alexandra Hill invites us along on her life’s journey that most of us will recognize as very much like our own. The mother of two and stepmother of two, Alex lives in the country with her husband Stan, six cats, two dogs and a plethora of woodland creatures.
