About the Book
ah! ROMANCE A collection of light romantic short stories (several previously published) others published here for the first time. All follow the ‘rules’ of the romance genre: how couples ‘meet cute’, confront and conquer hurdles and eventually reach the de rigeur happy ending – although sometimes with a sprinkling of tears. The stories are set in different venues, but several depict life behind the scenes of daytime soap operas—a field the author knows well. In tandem with the stories is a selection of light romantic verse detailing the many facets of romance: the laughs, the tears; the highs, the lows; the excitements, the disappointments; the doubts and the fulfillments—leading to happy-ever-aftering. Enjoy!
