About the Author

Richard E. Mc Ginty, born May 24, 1941 in Galveston, Texas. Started performing as a singer in 1947. Studied voice at the University of Texas in Austin. Served in the US Army from 1963 through 1965. Married for more than forty years has three grown children and four grandchildren. Mr. Mc Ginty has appeared in Germany, Ireland, Russia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, and Austria as a soloist and choral conductor. He began to write poetry “seriously” in 1990. His published poem “Stone Words” appeared in an English military magazine and in “Senior Citizens Magazine” in the US. He has been a regular contributor to both magazines since that time. This first collection is dedicated to his wife, family and all those who believe the revival of personal relationships can save mankind two by two.
