About the Book
Life in Rural Kentucky during the sixties was pretty much the same as it was a hundred years ago. Jasper county was one of those towns where the folks held on to old traditions, especially older residents. But the younger generation was tired of hard work on the farms and the cotton mills, they craved something more and moved to larger cities. Megan, unwed and pregnant was forced to move to California before her baby was born, where she got a glimpse of city life that was intriguing, but she missed her roots in Kentucky.
