Meet Rags, The Little Boston Terrier

About the Book

The Boston Terrier is the first American breed I am told. They weigh from 15 to 25 pounds. Rags weighs about 19 pounds. They are 15 to 17 inches long. Rags has ancestry in Europe among the bulldog, French bulldog, the bullterrier and the boxer. Boston Terriers are black and white or brindle and white. Rags is brindle and white. Brindle is a mixture of tan and black. It is very pretty. Bostons are lively and intelligent. They have fine even marking. They are determined and strong, active and friendly. They have excellent character and an even disposition. They make wonderful family dogs or companions for anyone. Rags is a Boston, born in Kentucky, raised in Ohio: a true American. He is a real dog and the people in the book are all real too.

About the Author

Amy Evans is first and foremost a dog lover. She paints prolifically in many mediums and you can see some of her work on her website at www.amyjevans.com. Amy has also taught French in High School and Elementary school. She enjoys being with young people and so she substitute teaches and sometimes she watercolor sketches the students as they work. There are some portraits like these on her website. Her friend Cyndy M. Finnigan, an author, helped her write this book.
