About the Book
Luke is bored! Summer vacation has just begun and he has nothing to do. As you moms read with your child, you may chuckle seeing your own little one in Luke as he complains, “I have nothing to do!” All the while, he is busy running about, riding his bike, fishing, swimming, but until his mom decides to take him to town, he complains of “nothing to do”.
Luke has much in common with most children today. They often miss enjoying the opportunities available to them. Read as Luke manages to turn his summer around with his mom’s help.
About the Author
Ms. Davis lives in Louisiana, has two grown children and two grandchildren. She remembers her own summer days many years ago when toys were few and creativity ran high. She remembers her own children calling her at work during long summer days with nothing to do. This is her first children’s book and her first advent as an illustrator. She hopes her drawings appear as if a child drew them. May you and your child love Luke and his little dilemma as much as she enjoyed designing it for you.
