About the Book
An inexperienced teenager is drawn into the political and scientific intrigues of the 1600’s, propelled into that whirlwind by his own curiosity and a chance meeting on a road late at night.
By taking on the task of the stranger, Jakob also took on the danger that was in hot pursuit of his mentor. Protected only by his faltering bravery and luck, Jakob enters a world of fame and wonder, where enemies pose as friends, flattering as they plan his downfall. His luck can’t last forever.
Enter this world yourself, and follow this reluctant hero’s path through the maze of appearance and deception, of history and myth. Join Jakob as he meets each obstacle and fights to overcome it.
