Good Grief

About the Book

Good Grief follows a ten year old boy through the grieving process from disbelief to anger to acceptance in the year following his father’s death. Highlighting the reactions the boy goes through when dealing with the fear and anxieties that children experience after losing a parent. With the support of his family, friends and a child’s bereavement group he grows to accept the challenges and learns that even when the loved one is not with you in person they are always with you in your heart.

About the Author

At the age of eight, Chad Bonadonna lost his father and grandmother to cancer; he went through the grieving process with the support of his family, friends and a support group. After two years with the “Kidz’ N Grief “program, Chad decided to use his experience to help others. First becoming a volunteer at the bereavement support group, and then interviewing other children to see what they experienced after loosing a parent. Chad wrote “Good Grief” to help other children work through their grief. Good Grief walks through the grieving process through the eyes of a ten year old boy.
