About the Author

Meurice Jeffers Lake is a graduate of Georgian Court University. She resides in Mountainside, NJ. She is the author of The Mysterious Love Letters (geared for children 9-12) and a member of The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. As a young girl, Ms. Lake spent her summers in Cape May, New Jersey which brought about the inspiration for this book. She is the mother of three and the grandmother of three children and spent most of her life teaching elementary school.
