A Stranger In Town Small Southern towns are quiet, peaceful, places to live. It’s a place where everybody knows everybody. Will Walker came to Beaverville, a small, quiet, southern town, to research material for a new book he was going to write. Little did he know that not only would he find a haunted house, but also murder around every corner. He found much, much more than he had anticipated. When the Sheriff started to investigate, lives were put in danger. The whole town became terrified when one of their own disappeared.
About the Author
Jo A. Totty has been writing for many years. She has had a lot of her poems published and won many awards for her poetry. She wrote her first novel when she was seventy years old. “The Elusive Toad” was published and since then she has written two more novels, “Secrets At the End of Whispers Lane”, and her latest “A Stranger In Town”. She is presently working on her fourth novel, which has not yet been published. All of her books are fiction and mysteries. They are based in the South. She is an avid reader and she writes the type of books she enjoys reading. While she was working with the local Educational Department for several years, she read to her students daily. She still visits the schools and reads to the students. Jo and her husband of forty-four years live in a small southern town. Since they have retired they travel and she spends her time writing, or doing research for another book she has an idea about writing. She is now seventy-one years old and although her health is not the best, she intends to write until she can no longer hold a pen.
