About the Book

This book is based on poems that God has given to me since I was 17 years old. Over the past 29 years since then, God dealt with me in this special way while going through trials and tests. As I wrote the poems, God would lead me. Now, He has blessed me with the opportunity to have them published in a book. Some of the titles came from sermons topics and others came from life experience. These are poems of encouragement and black history. In addition, there are two poems written by my sons, Joel and Terry, Jr. My wish is that you will be blessed as you read this book.

About the Author

Author Biography In the year 1977 God saved me and filled me with the Precious Gift Of The Holy Ghost. He then gave me the gift to write poetry in a spiritual way. I graduated from. Rockingham County Senior High School in the year of 1978. In the year of 1979 I was married to Elder Terry Hairston Sr, who is also the author of two books, and God Bless me to be the Mother of 3 Sons. In the year 2000 God Bless me to self-published my first book. All I can say God has been so GOOD to me.
