About the Book

This is a story of two young fish that learn a valuable lesson. Marissa and her older brother are minnows and their mother is a beautiful rainbow trout. As the siblings grow older and longer, they become adventuresome. Their mother warns them not to get hooked, although they are not sure what that means. Their adventure, and its consequence, is the heart of the story. Proving once again, those who love you truly do know what’s best.
