About the Book

As Essence Coley starts her New Years resolution of a new life, before closing the chapters of her old life with her husband of 17 years who shares nights of passions with the ‘shadow of the other women,’ and breaks a bond of trust, love, and happiness for what Essence calls, ‘A five minute stroke.’ Essence dreaded the time it would have taken to get to know another man and decided to take that time to get to know and love herself from deep within.
