About the Author
Michael Vincent Boyer is a UAB graduate in Political Science and Urban Studies. As a twenty-year veteran of the movie industry, the author served as a location scout for Hollywood studios, Location Coordinator for the Georgia Film Office in Atlanta, Executive Director of the Alabama Film Commission and as a member of the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI). As a location coordinator, Boyer scouted sites for Driving Miss Daisy, Forrest Gump, Glory, Fried Green Tomatoes and over 200 feature films, TV movies, episodic television, music videos and documentaries. Boyer now travels the country speaking out on the impact of the Hollywood entertainment industry on American & International culture.
