About the Author

Dr. Michael A. Sirover, Ph.D., has been on the Faculty of the Temple University School of Medicine for more than 30 years. In that time he has lectured on Cancer Treatment and Therapy to medical, dental, and podiatry students. Dr. Sirover has been awarded numerous cancer research grants by the National Cancer Institute (NCI), and he currently is the principal investigator of an NCI grant. He has published more than 50 research papers in such prestigious journals as The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, USA, Cancer Research, The Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics and The Journal of Neurochemistry. Dr. Sirover is privileged to serve as the Chair of a National Cancer Institute Special Advisory Committee on Cancer Prevention, a position that he has held for several years.
