About the Book

Children will show interest and delight as they read about a simple one-room schoolhouse and several situations and events that took place many years ago. It was back in the days when their own grandmothers attended school and, quite possibly, it was a one-room school like the one in the book.

About the Author

The author is a writer of children’s stories intended for the young reader between the ages of five and nine years. She has published one of her books herself, which was distributed to various schools. She bases her stories on real-life experiences and situations. In addition to Grandma’s School, she is in the process of completing a book about a child who visited Philadelphia and had the experiences of many types of rides. The author is a former kindergarten school teacher who has a flair for telling and reading stories with expression to young children, including babies and toddlers. In addition to entertaining them, the author’s intent is to inform and instruct children through her books.
