About the Author

The author was born in China and spent years folding papers with her mother. She was fascinated by the intricate patterns and resultant forms that seemed to never be exhausted. After finishing high school, she applied for and was accepted to a New England university in the United States. Pursuing her interests in mathematics and architecture, she completed her course work and launched a rewarding career in finance and business. Lei-Seu never forgot her childhood years and the hours spent creating paper magic. She has brought forth her love for this art in The Great Paper Toy Book so that the reader could master the skills and share them with others. The simplest designs fall quickly from untrained hands, but mastery of this art requires patience and skill.
