Born 1921 Near Reading, PA. Graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 1942 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Went directly into the army. Went back to Penn State after the war, accepted position as an instructor, while earning a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Accepted a position as a development engineer with the DuPont Company, where I was employed until I retired after thirty-five years of service. Retired as an Engineering fellow. Swimming was my hobby throughout my life. I also enjoyed traveling, and have toured Germany and Italy. Continue to have a friendly relationship with an Italian lady I met during WWII.
