About the Book
In the Wolf Pack, lines of honor and family mean everything. Yet two brothers of unknown origins seem to be proving old ways may not be the right ways. Nite, the supposed leader of the duo, and Mike, the silent and deadly enforcer, have to face countless battles and challenges as they try to prove to the Pack that they are worthy of being part of an Elite group known as the Abas Warriors in the first part of The Marauder Chronicles. Yet after almost half their time in school, neither has been defeated, an accomplishment that has been done a few times, but never by two people at the same time. The headmaster of the school pits the brothers against each other, forcing one to rise above. With the End Games in sight, will one brother remain undefeated, or will he finally learn no one is perfect?
About the Author
Michael Philips was born in Orlando, Florida, to a widowed mother in 1979. His grandparents assisted his mother in raising him and his older brother until he joined the navy after high school. In the navy, he became a Fire Control Technician, working directly with the weapon systems and radars deployed within the United States Navy. While serving with the navy, he was one of the first ships into the Arabian Gulf during both the 911 Afghanistan War on Terrorism and the 2003 Iraqi War. For a year overlapping 2006–2007, he served “boots on ground” in Iraq with an army company under special operations, directly responsible in saving thousands of lives. During this time, he also participated as a combat medic, but the details of those actions are as of yet Need to Know, Not for Public Knowledge.
