About the Book

THE MINI-SUBMARINE is a very exciting story about a mini-submarine’s getting lost and grounded in the Stockholm archipelago exactly on the midnight when U.S.S.R. ceased to exist . Some years ago, many such vessels were seen on the Swedish coast and they were assumed to belong to the U.S.S.R., but this fact was never proven. However imaginary, the story in this book is based on this event. Yuri, the captain of the mini-sub, meets a Swedish girl (Eva) and manages to settle in Sweden. Thus, THE MINI-SUBMARINE is not only a book of adventure and espionage, it is also a book of romance and reflects the life of Yuri and Eva in Stockholm. There is much occasion for the reader to learn about Stockholm and the life in it, as he reads about the life of this couple. Exciting episodes of adventure follow one another in the book, not leaving a chance for the reader to be bored.

THE MINI-SUBMARINE is intended as a novelette for an adventure and espionage film, but also as a book, it is expected to interest the readers equally much.
