About the Author

My name is Evangelist Lisa R. Dennis. I’ve been leading praise and worship for over 20 years. Through the gift of music and ministry I have established praise and worship teams in over 14 churches and over 9 Christian organizations. Praise and worship is very personal to me because God healed me and gave me a revelation of who He is during a worship service in August of 1986. Just by creating a home for Him and worshipping him. Today I am healed and am taking the Gospel of Jesus all across this nation. I believe that praise and worship is as important as your heartbeat, a matter of life and breath. Praise puts God on the throne and the devil on the run. When we lift up Jesus we tear down the works of darkness and the enemy. In our personal life we must allow God to effect major changes in our attitudes, habits and use of time. The worship of the Lord Jesus Christ must be at the center of every aspect of our lives. This is achieved when we do all in His name to glorify Him. God should be praised by His people at all times and in all circumstances of our living. I believe that praise and worship is an important part of our lifestyle and is dependent upon the moving of the Holy Spirit. God promised a people, a generation created that will praise Him. I’m glad you and I were created for praise-Hallelujah! We have been called out by God, into God, to show forth the praises of God according to I Peter 2:9 part “b”. Praise God!!
