About the Author

Denise MacLennan Bruce lives on Prince Edward Island in Canada with her husband, Mark, and 4 beautiful Children, Dale, Emily, Avery and Little Rilla Rose. She has always dreamed of writing a book and after hearing Rilla's made up stories; decided to go for it. This is her first children's book and with the help of her children and niece, Amy, who helped when problems arised, was able to fulfill her dream. She collects and adores paper dolls and all sorts of books. She is an avid gardener and loves to help others with their gardens. Denise thanks God for helping and guiding all along this new path of life
