About the Book

The book “Conversations with Drunks” was an inspirational idea about people who enjoy alcoholic beverages the stories they sometimes tell as well as the venue itself. Los Angeles is a difficult city to meet people, but the writer who doesn’t drink alcoholic beverages, ironically, made a connection with interesting people in bars and events with alcohol involved. The writer would like to pass the message to others that would like to do the same, especially, loved all the special bonds that she made with people along the way. The writer acknowledges that a place where alcohol is involved is a great opportunity to get a happy story. There are many people from different backgrounds but alcoholic beverages speak a common language: connection. This book of short stories intends to bring a smile to the reader and hopefully, it will inspire people to explore the city of Los Angeles for the reason that there are nonstop events. Panny Braverman would like to recognize that alcohol consumption was not necessary for the great moments she shared with people and places where it was served. Lastly, the book is about the stories.

About the Author

It’s about the journey not the destination: That is the story of my life. I have traveled and lived in many cultures, and at each place, I collected an interesting story from fascinating people. I’ve been living in Los Angeles for ten years and for the last three, sober. Los Angeles is a difficult city to meet people but ironically, bars and events with alcohol, opened a window for me to connect with people without losing myself with alcohol. I had great conversations with drunks and I learned a lot from everyone.
